Our Story
Seattle IBC was founded in 2008 with a simple mission: to provide businesses with reliable, sustainable solutions for their industrial container needs. What started as a small operation in a 500 square foot warehouse has grown into the Pacific Northwest's most trusted source for IBC totes and tanks.
Our founder recognized a gap in the market – businesses needed quality used containers at fair prices, but options were limited. Starting with just 50 containers and a used pickup truck, we began serving local businesses in the Seattle area. Word spread quickly about our quality products and reliable service.
Over the years, we've seen firsthand the environmental impact of single-use container practices. That's why we've built our business around the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle. By extending the lifecycle of IBC containers through proper cleaning, reconditioning, and recycling, we help businesses reduce costs while minimizing their environmental footprint.
Today, we operate from a modern 25,000 square foot facility with state-of-the-art cleaning and testing equipment. Our team of 25+ dedicated professionals serves over 500 active customers across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. We process over 15,000 containers annually, with a 95% material recovery rate in our recycling program.

Company Founded
Seattle IBC was established in Seattle, Washington with a mission to provide sustainable IBC container solutions to local businesses. Started with 500 sq ft warehouse and 2 employees.
First Major Contract
Secured first major contract with regional food processing company. Expanded inventory to include food-grade certified containers.
Expanded Services
Added recycling and reconditioning services to our portfolio. Invested in professional cleaning equipment to support the circular economy.
Transportation Fleet
Launched our own delivery fleet to provide direct pickup and delivery services across Washington state.
